About the role
This role involves providing hands-on engineering support for the assembly, integration, testing, and production of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will work with sophisticated electromechanical systems to improve manufacturability, drive quality, solve production issues, and enhance factory performance.
What you'll do
- Provide hands-on engineering support for the assembly, integration, testing, and production of semiconductor equipment.
- Serve as a key technical resource supporting production quality, reliability, schedule attainment, and operational performance.
- Partner with manufacturing technicians and operations teams to troubleshoot build and test issues.
- Lead resolution of recurring and complex manufacturing challenges through structured investigation and corrective action implementation.
- Investigate manufacturing, quality, and reliability issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and FMEA.
- Analyze engineering drawings, bills of material, schematics, test data, and manufacturing documentation to resolve product and process issues.
What you'll need
- Experience providing hands-on engineering support for the assembly, integration, testing, and production of semiconductor equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot build and test issues.
- Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and FMEA.
- Experience performing root cause analysis.
- Ability to analyze engineering drawings, bills of material, schematics, test data, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience in developing and improving manufacturing processes, work instructions, assembly procedures, and production documentation.
