About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies, working with equipment that is essential to advancing AI and semiconductor chips.
What you'll do
- Provide manufacturing engineering support for Final Assembly, Shipping, and Sub-Assembly operations across a variety of products.
- Help develop and improve operation sequences, manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and packaging/shipment procedures.
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing layouts, material flow, packaging processes, and shipping operations.
- Maintain and optimize Bills of Material (BOMs), product structures, and configuration data, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Determine root causes and implement corrective actions for issues arising during assembly, test, packaging, shipment, transportation, or customer installation activities.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste, improve process flow, and increase operational effectiveness.
- Estimate manufacturing costs, establish labor standards, and recommend tooling, fixtures, packaging solutions, and process improvements.
- Support the development, qualification, and validation of packaging solutions, transportation fixtures, and crating methods.
- Conduct audits at customer sites to evaluate shipment quality, packaging effectiveness, and installation readiness.
What you'll need

- 2-4 years of related experience

- Experience with SAP, PTC Creo, Smartsheet, Tableau, or other similar software programs.
