This role involves creating and maintaining work definitions and instructions for product manufacturing, focusing on troubleshooting and developing efficient processes.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain work definition for product manufacturing, including routings and time studies.
- Develop and update work instructions for manufacturing technicians.
- Work with design engineers to update designs for improved quality, cycle time, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop processes and process instructions, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Design and implement new manufacturing methodologies for material handling, machining, and assembly.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow.
What you'll need
- 3-5+ years manufacturing, engineering or related work experience.
- Bachelors degree in engineering.
- Applied knowledge of related manufacturing operations.
- Experience with machining processes and welding operations.
- Proficient with Solidworks.
- Experience designing and improving mechanical fixtures.
Nice to have
- Experience with Thermoforming processes.
- Lean/5S/KanBan experience.
- GD&T experience.
