About the role
A Manufacturing Engineer 3 owns and supports platform product engineering of electromechanical devices for worldwide distribution. In this role, you will plan, implement, and manage manufacturing support while leading supplier production release, training, and quality development.
What you'll do
- Manage projects for supplier production release, training, and quality development while maintaining quality assurance protocols. - Coordinate across design, process, test, reliability, and manufacturing teams to resolve product issues and production problems. - Address failure analysis, process development, application flows, material issues, and system interconnects. - Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams (CFT) and stakeholders to coordinate development and qualification activities. - Ensure suppliers' quality performance to deliver consistent and reliable products. - Assist with testing of electromechanical products and advocate for your product across company organizations.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience, in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. - Working knowledge of Statistics Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause-Corrective Action (RCCA), and 8D & 5-Whys problem solving. - Previous experience leading technical projects and managing cross-functional projects. - Prior experience with MS Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Project. - Ability and comfort with traveling as needed.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of applicable experience in the semiconductor industry. - Ability to read and understand dimensional analysis of drawing standards. - Ability to assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards.
