About the role
This role involves coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure reliable production and adherence to specifications within the Santa Rosa Metrology Laboratory.
What you'll do
- Assemble precision components.
- Interpret and understand manufacturing process instructions.
- Evaluate the manufacturability of new products and provide DFx recommendations.
- Manage and improve processes to enhance product quality and maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize root cause analysis to ensure all failures are fully understood and can be prevented.
- Assist R&D and manufacturing engineering in introducing or modifying processes, programs, or fixtures for microelectronic assemblies.
What you'll need
- 2-4 years relevant experience with automated microelectronics assembly equipment.
- Demonstrated use of tools and equipment to handle ultra-small parts and assemblies.
- High level of manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination.
- Ability to read and understand schematics of various forms, including all symbols and terminology.
- Experience working with electronics, cabling, and soldering.
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Hands on experience operating and/or programming GPD dispense, MRSI component placement or H&K bonding equipment.
