This role involves overseeing the definition and completion of specific project and program objectives, ensuring adherence to specifications, costs, and timelines.
What you'll do
- Define project and program objectives and ensure preliminary activities are completed for effectiveness.
- Ensure projects and programs are completed according to requirements, including product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
- Document all phases of project, program, and/or process development and disseminate information to functional areas.
- Manage departmental budgets and spending, ensuring effective utilization of material and financial resources.
- Assign work to staff, provide professional development, and manage productivity, appraisals, and work allocations.
- Oversee research and development of new technologies and ensure new processes, designs, or methodologies are incorporated into products/services.
- Oversee the development, support, maintenance, and implementation of projects handled by the BU/technology group through lower-level managers.

- Comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within own job family.
- In-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the segment/function.
- Experience managing multiple related teams, setting organizational priorities, and allocating resources.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems.
- Familiarity with data analytics and integration across multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML implementation to drive productivity, efficiency, and scalability.
