About the role
As a System Test Engineering Manager, you will lead system test engineering efforts that enable AMD’s accelerator products from early development through high-volume manufacturing, defining system-level test strategy and driving execution across lab, manufacturing, and customer environments.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of system test engineers supporting Instinct accelerator product development.
- Define and execute system-level test strategies spanning pre-silicon planning, post-silicon bring-up, customer samples, and high-volume manufacturing.
- Drive alignment on test coverage, validation readiness, and quality metrics across lab, manufacturing, and customer environments.
- Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, and Customer Engineering teams.
- Oversee planning and execution for system test deliverables, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Identify technical, schedule, and quality risks; drive mitigation plans and escalation as needed.
What you'll need
- Experience leading system test or validation teams in semiconductor product development.
- Strong background supporting GPU, accelerator, or complex SoC-based products.
- Experience with pre-silicon planning, post-silicon validation, customer sampling, and manufacturing readiness.
- Proven people management experience, including hiring, mentoring, and performance development.
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional, and geographically distributed engineering environments.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
