About the role
This role involves owning the design, manufacture, integration, validation, and qualification of lasers and amplifiers across business verticals. You will focus on integrated multi-wavelength lasers for various applications.
What you'll do
- Own roadmap, execution, validation, and delivery for laser and amplifier products.
- Lead a team of engineers to transition lasers and amplifiers from development to production.
- Develop engineering requirement documents for product lines to ensure devices meet performance, yield, and cost metrics.
- Lead integration of IIIV devices into products by working across teams to develop packaging and integration.
- Own the detailed characterization of IIIV devices to provide iterative design feedback.
- Own the NPI and transition to high volume production of IIIV devices with high yield and low cost.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience leading teams and delivering products.
- Demonstrated experience with 4 or more of the following: NPI strategy, IIIV design, IIIV process, vendor management, qualification/reliability, validation.
- Experience working cross-functionally to enable data-driven decision making.
- Experience with working with cross-functional teams to deliver products.
