About the role
This role involves supervising employees in various production and operation functions related to the manufacturing of capital equipment and systems, electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, components, subassemblies, and subsystems.
What you'll do
- Supervise employees in production and operations functions such as assembly, inspection, and test.
- Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials.
- Participate in operational meetings and support the development and tracking of organizational performance metrics.
- Ensure timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction and act as an interface for customer/vendor requirements.
- Oversee the prevention of employee accidents and injuries, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety training.
- Develop personnel through training, career development, performance management, and coaching.
- Support analysis and planning for maximum production capacity optimization.
- Identify process and quality changes to improve manufacturing capabilities, driving Lean, Safety, and Quality initiatives.
