About the role
This role involves leading a small facilities team while actively engaging in day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of manufacturing equipment and facility systems for a manufacturing operation in Reno, Nevada.
What you'll do
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure maintenance work follows Entegris requirements and applicable regulations.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, coaching, and technical support to one Facilities Technician.
- Establish daily and weekly priorities based on safety, production needs, preventive maintenance requirements, equipment condition, and available resources.
- Support reliable operation of facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, process piping, pumps, motors, chillers, heaters, and related equipment.
- Use SAP as the site's computerized maintenance management system to create, assign, update, track, and close maintenance work.
- Support facility, manufacturing, equipment-installation, and capital-improvement projects.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Facilities) or equivalent technical training and experience.
- 3-5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, engineering, construction, or a related technical environment.
- Hands-on experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, industrial facilities, and mechanical/electrical systems.
- Experience supporting industrial systems including HVAC, compressed air, process piping, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or controls systems.
- Experience planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
