About the role
This role involves the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure, focusing on equipment uptime and reliability.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair on production and facilities equipment.
- Provide repairs and troubleshoot production equipment to resolve issues.
- Disassemble and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor performance, diagnose root cause, and recommend reliability improvements.
- Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair.
- Support projects and improve manufacturing processes.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in direct equipment maintenance.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to read and understand equipment mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift, on your feet, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and how to diagnose issues.
- Electrical experience in both high and low voltage systems (12v, 24v, 120v, and 480v systems).
- Background knowledge of pneumatic systems and how to troubleshoot issues, with knowledge of Parker and SMC systems preferred.
- Experience training junior roles.
