About the role
Provide advanced CNC maintenance services to support production goals at the Decatur, TX facility. You will perform hands-on repairs, equipment installations, and vendor coordination across machinery such as EDM, wire saws, laser engraving, robot loaders, and machine tools.
What you'll do
- Execute equipment installation, relocation, upgrades, and hands-on repairs across CNC machinery and machine tools. - Self-diagnose machine tool problems, lead repairs, and run the Renishaw Ball bar to measure axis alignment and set machines to within microns. - Program PLC ladder logic and keeper bits to diagnose and repair Fanuc and Mazatrol machinery. - Teach and repair Yaskawa, Fanuc Robotics, and automated gantry machine loaders. - Troubleshoot electrical components, including contactors, switches, relays, and controllers. - Schedule and coordinate with OEM experts, participate in 7-day on-call rotations, and prepare metrics for maintenance costs and machine downtime.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED with 1+ years of machine tool maintenance background. - Working knowledge of mechanical systems including ball screws, worm gears, and transmissions, alongside rebuild experience using Gib and Way Scraping and Turcite installation. - Working knowledge of electrical systems, safety circuits, timers, servomotors, and HMIs. - Maintenance experience servicing blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. - Ability to climb stairs and ladders, safely lift 50 lbs, and wear required PPE meeting NFPA 70E requirements. - Capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.

- Knowledge of machine tools including Fadal, Haas, Mitsubishi, Hardinge, Okamoto, and Chevalier.
