About the role
This role involves performing preventative and proactive maintenance on production equipment within Wolfspeed's Wafer Operations. The specialist will work directly with operations, process, and equipment engineering teams to achieve department goals.
What you'll do
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on tools according to equipment specifications
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance performed using paper and electronic checklists
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment based on operating manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Utilize test and diagnostic equipment for equipment checks
- Perform repeatable tasks, such as changing filters, o-rings/seals, and brushes, to improve equipment up-time
- Support the company's 5S program for manufacturing area organization
What you'll need
- High school education or GED
- Working familiarity with electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Mechanical aptitude
Nice to have
- Wolfspeed Technician Certification Program (TCP) graduate
