About the role
This role is responsible for setting up and operating large (6") and small diameter (1/8") vertical saws, as well as handling functions such as DI wash, deburring, polishing/buffing, and leak checks in Fremont, CA.
What you'll do
- Perform basic set-ups and operate machines across more than one assigned area. - Fit, align, and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. - Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications. - Load and unload cleaning equipment, perform assembly, alcohol wiping, swabbing, nitrogen dry parts, leak checks, LPC testing, and bag and tag operations. - Operate air and electric drivers as well as ultrasonic wash equipment. - Maintain logs and required operational documentation while adhering to PPE standards in or outside a cleanroom environment.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or equivalent. - 2 to 4 years of manufacturing or related work experience. - Ability to operate a variety of machines and execute basic machine set-ups. - Basic understanding of mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts. - Ability to read and work from blueprints, shop orders, and specifications. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, reaching, and standing.
