About the role
As a Machine Operator 1 at MKS Instruments, you will partner with Manufacturing Operations to machine parts to specifications. This role involves operating machines in the production of the company’s product.
What you'll do
- Operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines.
- Work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions to perform production tasks.
- Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.
What you'll need
- 1+ year of related experience.
- Production experience.
- Basic reading, writing, addition, and subtraction skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to use a micrometer and caliper.
