About the role
What you'll do
- Drive development of Python applications, automation frameworks, and engineering tools.
- Lead software development efforts and technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Identify and champion opportunities to leverage AI to improve engineering productivity and business outcomes.
- Lead AI and emerging technology proof-of-concept (POC) efforts from evaluation through deployment.
- Develop APIs, data pipelines, and workflow automation solutions.
- Debug and resolve complex software and system integration issues.
What you'll need
- Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, testing, and performance optimization.
- Experience building APIs, automation frameworks, and scalable software applications.
- Proficiency with modern software development practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Experience with databases, data engineering, and API-driven solutions.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Experience developing and integrating AI/ML solutions, including LLM-based applications and agent frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects, POCs, and cross-functional initiatives.
