What you'll do
- Identify and lead projects to reduce variation, enhance process control, and eliminate waste.
- Optimize chemical purification processes to improve yield and efficiency.
- Develop and implement a yield monitoring program.
- Drive cost savings initiatives and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Utilize statistical methods and SPC tools to monitor and analyze process performance.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of efficiency.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a process engineering or lead engineering role.
- Proven track record in cost savings projects and project management.
- Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and yield monitoring systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or similar).
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
