About the role
This role involves analog chip/sub-section/IP architecture and design, with complete ownership from definition to release to manufacturing. You will be part of an established team developing solutions in the areas of consumer electronics, mobile computing and communications, specifically for display and touch power products, charger power products, camera PMICs, power path devices, sensing devices and high-performance communication interface products.
What you'll do
- Architect and design analog chip, sub-section, or IP with complete ownership from definition to release to manufacturing.
- Direct, guide, and participate in designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic parts, components, and integrated circuits.
- Provide design guidance to team members, develop schedules, and monitor project progress.
- Evaluate intermediate and final project results during design and silicon evaluation.
- Work with and provide guidance to physical designers, monitoring IC layout progress.
- Collaborate with Design Verification, systems, application, validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience.
- Analog chip/sub-section/IP design experience.
- Experience with silicon evaluation.
- Experience with IC layout.
- Ability to interface with customers and/or field sales/field applications teams.
