About the role
As a Junior Furnace Technician on the Night Shift 2, you will sustain and run the 300mm fab floor with primary responsibility for resolving equipment and process issues, specifically with diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment.
What you'll do
- Monitor, control, and qualify 300 mm diffusion furnace semiconductor equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities.
- React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment.
- Review Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators for process quality.
- Recover from process and tool interruptions.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement to optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
What you'll need
- High School Degree (or equivalent).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.
- Ability to perform shift work on a 12-hour schedule in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis.
- Ability to perform work in a standing position for the majority of a 12-hour shift.
Nice to have
- Experience training new team members.
- Experience supporting emergency preparedness activities.
