About the role
This internship focuses on supporting Test Technology development projects within the Final Test process. The role involves assisting in the development, evaluation, and implementation of new test tools and materials to enhance Digital and Power Final Test manufacturing capabilities.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Testcell engineers to qualify and release new test technology solutions.
- Apply GD&T approaches to analyze package testability relative to test hardware design, conducting metrology and mechanical tolerancing studies.
- Perform simulation studies and generate detailed engineering drawings in 2D and 3D formats.
- Assist engineers in the hardware design, evaluation, and implementation processes for production use.
- Prepare necessary technical documentation for production handover.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Willingness to learn and work within a final test production line environment.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and principles.
- Proficient in Computer-Aided Design and Engineering applications such as Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
- Strong command of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, GD&T, and fabrication methods.
