About the role
As part of the Regional Distribution Centre Team, you will work with internal stakeholders and outsourced 3PL warehouse teams to facilitate daily operations across warehouse activities and monitor via Infineon Systems including ERP SAP, Assist4, and PIO SAP. You will also participate in digitalization and AI-enabled projects supporting enterprise logistics workflows.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists on projects involving Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI.
- Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to extract insights from enterprise datasets.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI and analytics solutions into production environments following standard engineering practices.
- Build and maintain software applications that integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into business operations.
- Develop data pipelines and ingestion frameworks to process and manage data across diverse enterprise sources.
- Support ongoing solution operations through troubleshooting, debugging, enhancement requests, and continuous improvement activities.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python with a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, RAG, and AI application development.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI agent orchestration, vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval systems.
- Exposure to REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and container technologies (Docker or OpenShift).
- Availability to commit to an internship duration of more than 5 months.
