About the role
This internship sits within the EUV UIR (Upgrades, Installs, and Relocation) team supporting the installation, qualification, repair, and maintenance of lithography systems at customer fab sites.
What you'll do
- Work alongside engineers and project managers to evaluate processes and update documentation using continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN and 6 Sigma. - Document and present findings, concluding with an end-of-summer presentation to the group detailing project achievements. - Identify and document engineering goals, targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Create data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python to identify opportunities for automation. - Collaborate with engineers across operational areas and shifts to establish Best Known Methods (BKMs) and improve fab performance.
What you'll need
- Minimum 60 credit hours completed toward a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028. - Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, OneNote, Teams, and PowerPoint. - Ability to read and interpret engineering data, documentation, and operational procedures. - Availability to travel domestically for program closeout and presentation activities.

- Majors in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Micro-electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or IC manufacturing.
