About the role
This position will assist engineers in designing, developing, and characterizing high-performance RFICs for high-volume RFFE products.
What you'll do
- Perform lab measurements and create validation reports against design expectations.
- Design and implement custom hardware and software test benches for product verification.
- Measure, analyze, and document product characterization data.
- Assist engineers with the simulation and layout of derivative product designs in Cadence.
What you'll need
- Hands-on use of RF measurement equipment to validate performance of CMOS RF ICs.
- Experience with RF measurements, including NF, IP3, IP2, matching using smith charts, and time domain measurements.
- Knowledge of analog and RF IC Design.
- Familiarity with analog & RF IC layout techniques.
- Proficiency with software tools such as Matlab, JMP, Datapower, National Instruments LabView, Cadence, and ADS.
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering (must be completing 3+ year).
Nice to have
- RF/analog IC product characterization and RF measurement techniques.
- Experience or strong interest in AI/ML and/or scripting.
