About the role
This position will assist engineers in designing, developing, and characterizing high-performance RFICs for high-volume RFFE products.
What you'll do
- Perform lab measurements and create validation reports with comparisons versus design expectations.
- Design and implement custom test benches in hardware and software for product verification.
- Measure, analyze, and document data for product characterization to ensure adherence to product requirements.
- Assist engineers with the simulation and layout of derivative product designs in Cadence.
What you'll need
- Hands-on use of RF measurement equipment to validate performance of CMOS RF ICs.
- Experience with RF measurements, including NF, IP3, IP2, matching using smith charts, and time domain measurements.
- Knowledge of analog and RF IC Design.
- Familiarity with analog & RF IC layout techniques.
- Proficiency with software tools: Matlab, JMP, Datapower, National Instruments LabView, Cadence, ADS.
- Fulltime enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering (completing 3+ year), MSEE or PhD candidate preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience or strong interest in AI/ML and/or scripting.
