NVIDIA is hiring an Interconnect Engineer to work on external laser source (ELS) modules for co-packaged optics (CPO) systems.
About the role
This role focuses on the design and implementation of high power external laser source (ELS) modules for deployment in co-packaged optics (CPO) systems. This position involves technical management of external vendors and the development of internal ELS products.
What you'll do
- Participate in the development of internal products.
- Communicate specifications to external vendors.
- Manage product implementation with external vendors, including communication, change management, test result review, lab testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Drive projects from concept to mass production.
- Present progress and gaps to management.
What you'll need
- M. Sc. in electrical engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience and knowledge of Photonics.
- Laboratory experience from optics or optical communications, including automation of test setups.
- Working knowledge of electrical circuits.
- Proficiency in English.
