About the role
The Intelligent Manufacturing Engineer supports factory operations by aligning manufacturing science, scheduling systems, and production control infrastructure to meet fab capacity targets.
What you'll do
- Apply manufacturing science concepts including theory of constraints, capacity planning, and flow optimization to fab operations. - Ensure factory core infrastructure interfaces with production control and execution systems to satisfy production demands. - Collect and analyze data regarding tools and dispatching logic to maintain equipment and process flow performance. - Create or maintain a scheduling system delivering decision-making logic to achieve production targets and reduce operational variability. - Coordinate with engineering teams to confirm robotic workstations, detection instruments, and database/informatics tools satisfy standards. - Manage and coordinate daily activities for Manufacturing Specialists to achieve production goals.
What you'll need
- A minimum of a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical and Automation Engineering, or a related field. - Demonstrated knowledge of optimization algorithm, IE, IT, or related fields. - Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing.
