About the role
TSMC Arizona's Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) department is responsible for leading new technology transfers, new production line set up, maintenance, quality, and productivity improvement to ensure smooth production operations. This position supports the 5-nanometer fab located in Phoenix, Arizona.
What you'll do
- Supervise vendors in installing and sustaining AMHS systems for factory ramp-up operations. - Troubleshoot equipment issues, gather performance metrics, and perform data analysis on AMHS systems. - Direct Field Service Engineers (FSEs) on the manufacturing floor to resolve system issues, leading root cause analysis and task forces while providing on-call coverage as needed. - Lead equipment continuous improvement projects alongside supplier management and AMHS suppliers, managing implementation and documentation. - Coordinate with the factory regarding equipment downtime and recovery expectations, reviewing technical specifications to improve error recovery procedures. - Manage and coordinate daily activities for AMHS technicians to maintain production line flow.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline (Software: Computer Science, Information Management, Transportation Management; Hardware: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Engineering). - Legal authorization to work in the United States. - Technical capability in mechanical aptitude, system design, or project management. - Ability to provide on-call coverage and support factory troubleshooting priorities.
