About the role
This role involves building infrastructure for AI tooling, focusing on agent harnesses and shared workflows across the hardware and software stack for custom silicon designed for large AI models.
What you'll do
- Make agents legible, first-class users of our infrastructure, providing identity, task-specific access, and audit trails.
- Build environments for agents, including short-lived VMs and no-egress sandboxes for long runs.
- Build the company agent knowledge base, structuring context from monorepo, design docs, and Slack for agent consumption.
What you'll need
- Experience running production infrastructure somewhere dynamic.
- Heavy use of coding agents with strong opinions on their capabilities and verification.
- Experience building engineering workflows (methodology, flow automation, review tooling, agent harnesses) that other engineers adopted.
- Ability to identify and modify agent harnesses when LLM agents assert confidently wrong information.
Nice to have
- Experience operating Bazel remote execution or a remote cache.
- Familiarity with sandboxing and ephemeral compute for untrusted workloads.
