About the role
Industrial Engineer V serves on an internal consulting team supporting Applied Global Services executive leadership to optimize business processes and operational performance across a global business. The role leads strategic initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation and value realization using structured analysis and operational excellence methodologies.
What you'll do
- Structure and break down complex business problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analysis across large data sets, and deliver data-driven recommendations. - Develop business cases and executive-level presentations to align senior leaders and influence strategic decisions. - Lead strategic initiatives across multiple workstreams from identification through implementation, adoption, value realization, and executive reporting. - Identify and implement operational improvements leveraging advanced analytics, digital technologies, process automation, and operational excellence methodologies. - Optimize operations and business processes to improve productivity, profitability, cycle time reduction, and cost savings across a matrixed environment.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative discipline. - 10+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, internal consulting, industrial engineering, business transformation, operations strategy, or related disciplines. - Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytics and business intelligence platforms. - Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, business process improvement, and change management methodologies. - Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation, operational excellence, or strategic improvement initiatives across matrixed cross-functional organizations.
Nice to have
- Prior management consulting or internal consulting experience. - MBA or equivalent business experience. - Semiconductor industry experience or experience within other complex global manufacturing or technology environments.
