About the role
As an Equipment Technician, you will perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks on semiconductor tools to improve and sustain equipment availability, reliability, and maintainability. This role supports 24/7 operations in Marcy, NY.
What you'll do
- Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks.
- Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications.
- Modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance.
What you'll need
- AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience.
