About the role

As an IC Test Engineer, you will craft on-wafer microwave and millimeter-wave measurement solutions to characterize and screen internally designed ICs and MMICs. This on-site role focuses on exploratory R&D design validation and automated small-volume testing using custom-built test stations.

What you'll do

- Design and develop test plans, methodologies, and test automation code for integrated circuits. - Perform functional testing and characterization on ICs using custom-built test stations, network analyzers, signal sources, and spectrum analyzers. - Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations. - Troubleshoot and debug test failures in collaboration with in-house design and process engineering teams. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and corrective actions while implementing process improvements for test efficiency.

What you'll need

- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, with thesis work or relevant industry experience in mm-wave IC characterization. - 3+ years of experience in RF characterization of active and passive components, including reflection coefficient, matching, TOI, P1dB, and noise figure. - 3+ years of experience using test and measurement equipment such as network analyzers, signal sources, and spectrum analyzers. - 3+ years of experience with wafer probe calibration and measurements of integrated circuits. - Software development proficiency in at least one of the following: C#, C++/.NET, C, or Visual Studio.

Nice to have

- Expertise in automating electrical test and programming in C#, .NET, and Visual Studio. - Knowledge in semiconductor device physics and manufacturing processes. - Expertise in RF and analog integrated circuit design and analysis. - Experience with PCB board design and simulation tools such as ADS. - Knowledge in statistical analysis and process improvement.
