About the role
This role is for a Hardware Test Technician within the New Product Introduction Group (NPI-Pilot Line team), Teradyne Memory Business Unit, conducting tests and evaluations on testers and PCBAs. The position is based on site full-time in San Jose, CA.
What you'll do
- Conduct testing and evaluations on products (Tester and PCBA) to evaluate functionality, reliability, and durability, including stress tests, performance evaluations, and quality assurance checks. - Document, record, and interpret test results, providing detailed data to engineers and stakeholders. - Maintain, clean, calibrate, debug, and repair testing equipment to ensure accurate testing results. - Identify product and equipment failures.
What you'll need
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair PCBA at the component level. - Experience using and troubleshooting test equipment tools, including oscilloscopes and meters. - 5+ years of related experience. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Word. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overtime, and be on site 5 days a week between 7am and 5pm.
