About the role
As a member of the uArchitecture/Design team, you will comprehend, interpret, and implement architectures and designs for multiple internal Qualcomm security IPs from high-level specifications. You will capture these approaches in detailed micro-architecture documents for design and verification teams.
What you'll do
- Work with architects to comprehend and interpret high-level specifications related to internal Qualcomm security IPs. - Define and describe appropriate micro-architectures to meet high-level specifications and deliver micro-architecture documentation according to schedule. - Communicate with design and design verification representatives to vet document quality and usability. - Implement, design, and code the digital design directly when needed. - Follow IP updates and chip schedules to perform effort planning.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, or integration experience (or Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years). - 10 years of experience with digital logic design and uArchitecture definition. - Hands-on experience with VLSI/ASIC design and implementation. - Familiarity with AHB, AXI, or APB protocols. - Experience with technical document creation and maintenance for digital designs.
Nice to have
- In-depth knowledge of AES/SHA algorithms and modes and key handling principles. - Experience with FIPS or Common Criteria certification. - Experience implementing AHB/AXI/APB protocols. - Experience with high-throughput architectures for cryptographic processing.
