About the role
As a HW Security Architect at NXP Semiconductors, you will specify security solutions, manage security requirements, and design security architectures for embedded secure systems.
What you'll do
- Specify, design, and review security architectures while managing security requirements linked to functional requirements. - Perform detailed attack modeling and define security mechanisms across hardware, firmware, and protocols. - Advise and train teams on the design, implementation, and testing of hardware/software security mechanisms. - Conduct detailed implementation reviews across RTL and firmware code. - Plan, coordinate, and execute pre-silicon vulnerability analysis (VA) and perform root cause analysis of security defects. - Provide technical interface to customers, business teams, product development teams, evaluators, and certifiers.
What you'll need
- Master's degree or PhD in Cryptography, Security, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. - Minimum of 10 years industry experience in the design and development of Embedded Secure Systems. - Strong knowledge of SoCs and/or Secure Element products. - Experience in embedded security. - Familiarity with CAD tools such as Cadence. - Knowledge of Hardware description languages including System Verilog and VHDL. - Willingness to travel internationally.
