About the role
As a Hookup System Engineer, you will support process piping, mechanical, or electrical systems for semiconductor FAB construction projects. The role supports fab facilities executing N4, N3, and N2 process technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop and participate in creating installation procedures for process piping, mechanical, or electrical systems and guide contractors on these procedures. - Verify construction quality for assigned systems through on-site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, including project managers, schedulers, CAD designers, tool owners, and contractors, to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. - Provide technical guidance to contractors during construction to ensure high-quality installations and efficiency. - Identify areas for process optimization and implement recommendations to improve overall construction quality and efficiency. - Generate after-action reports (AAR) by gathering data and documenting lessons learned following incidents related to assigned systems.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. - Knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Ability to perform desk-based computer work along with physical tasks including grasping, manipulation, bending, stooping, and squatting. - Willingness to support shift schedules including compressed work weeks, night shift rotations, and 24/7 high-volume manufacturing on-call needs.
