About the role

As a High-Speed Signal Integrity Engineer on the Server Platform Signal and Power Integrity (SIPI) team, you will support high-speed interface design, simulation, validation, and analysis for server and accelerator platforms.

What you'll do

  • Support signal integrity analysis and validation for high-speed interfaces, including DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and other serial and parallel communication channels.
  • Perform pre-silicon and post-silicon SI simulations, measurements, and correlation activities for server and accelerator platforms.
  • Analyze channel performance using S-parameter models, time-domain and frequency-domain simulation techniques.
  • Assist in system bring-up, debug, characterization, and validation of platform-level electrical designs.
  • Collaborate with package, silicon, platform, layout, validation, and firmware teams to identify and resolve electrical performance issues.
  • Develop scripts, automation flows, and methodologies to improve simulation efficiency, data analysis, and validation workflows.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electromagnetics, or a related technical field.
  • Fundamental understanding of signal integrity, transmission lines, electromagnetic theory, and high-speed digital design concepts.
  • Familiarity with SI simulation and analysis tools such as Cadence Sigrity, Ansys HFSS, Ansys SIwave, Keysight ADS, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, Perl, or C++.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and high-speed communication protocols such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, or similar technologies.

Nice to have

  • Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNA), TDRs, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Coursework or academic projects involving signal integrity, high-speed circuits, RF/microwave engineering, electromagnetics, or communication systems.
