About the role
This role involves hardware engineering with a focus on PCB signal and power integrity.
What you'll do
- Support PCB layout by assisting with floorplanning, stack-up trade-offs, and defining routing constraints.
- Partner with hardware circuit design teams to resolve high-speed signal integrity and power integrity issues.
- Organize and execute high-priority simulations to prevent design escapes during bring-up and design verification.
What you'll need
- BS or MSEE in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years experience.
- Primary experience in Cadence, Ansys, Mentor Graphics, or Keysight signal extraction tools (e.g., Allegro, Sigrity, HyperLynx, EM Pro, SI Pro).
- Primary skills in Transmission-Line Theory, Frequency and Time Domain evaluation, and EM Fields.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and CoPilot.
Nice to have
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, tcl, or similar tools/languages.
- Experience/skills in taking lab measurements.
- Experience leading a team or primary responsibility for a project.
