About the role

This role involves supporting PSU validation and test automation for server power platforms. The position focuses on firmware validation, regression testing, hardware characterization, and automated test development for data center power products.

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute functional, stability, and regression testing for server PSUs (FW validation).
  • Validate power architectures, including Totem-Pole PFC, LLC, and digital control loops.
  • Develop and maintain automated test systems using Chroma, Python, and C#.
  • Operate lab equipment such as AC sources, loads, power analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Utilize PMBus, I2C, UART, ModBus, and CAN/CAN-FD for control and data validation.
  • Generate test plans, reports, and issue tracking documentation.

What you'll need

  • Hands-on experience in power electronics testing and lab instrumentation.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in PSU validation and test automation for server power platforms.

Nice to have

  • 10+ years in server power validation.
  • Strong knowledge of power equipment control and setup.
  • Experience with automation frameworks, scripting, and lab integration.
  • Familiarity with PMBus and power management protocols.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Git, Jira, or Redmine.
  • Experience with datacenter power compliance testing.
