The role spans board-level electrical design, PCB layout, microcontroller firmware integration, and lab characterization from proof-of-concept through mass production.

What you'll do

- Prepare schematic designs, PCB layouts, Gerber files, bills of materials, and fabrication notes using EDA tools. - Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and electrical testing on fabricated test boards, evaluation kits, and sensor modules. - Collaborate with OEMs and internal R&D teams to provide multidisciplinary technical support across hardware, firmware, and mechanical integration. - Work closely with R&D on bench-level sensor characterization, system-level testing, and failure analysis. - Create technical documentation including datasheets, application notes, design specifications, and design guides. - Manage PCB vendors to ensure on-time delivery of designed boards and prototypes.

What you'll need

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of professional experience in board-level electronic design, or recent graduates with substantial hands-on circuit board design and microcontroller project experience. - Proficiency with Altium, Cadence, or Siemens for schematic capture and PCB layout with multiple boards fabricated. - Hands-on experience with board-level analog / mixed-signal circuit design and low-voltage power circuitry such as LDOs and voltage regulators. - Hands-on experience with microcontroller-based designs (e.g., Arduino, STM32, or similar), including I2C/SPI communication interfaces. - Hands-on experience in ADCs, sensors, embedded system design, firmware development, or sensor signal post-processing. - Proficiency in C/C++ or Python, and familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital analyzers, and multimeters.

Nice to have

- Experience in customer-facing or applications engineering work within the semiconductor industry. - Experience supporting products from proof-of-concept through mass production. - Experience with sensor-based products in consumer electronics, automotive, or medical devices. - Algorithm development experience. - Experience with AI/ML tools such as Claude.
