About the role
This role conducts EMC testing, measurements, and analysis alongside signal integrity and power integrity simulations for automotive Ethernet products, high-speed PCBs, and packages. Technical responsibilities focus on channel modeling, lab correlation, stack-up definition, and SI/PI sign-off.
What you'll do
- Conduct EMC measurements and analysis for automotive Ethernet products. - Perform signal integrity and power integrity simulations for high-speed PCBs and packages. - Develop and maintain channel and device models (S-parameters, IBIS-AMI) for high-speed interfaces. - Correlate simulations with measurements using VNA, TDR, and spectrum analyzers. - Review and drive SI/PI sign-off for internal high-speed PCB designs, defining stack-ups, material selection, and design guidelines. - Partner with IC design teams to define EMC specifications for new products.
What you'll need
- 1+ year of work experience in high-speed SI/PI and EMC-related fields. - Major in high-speed SI/PI, EMC, or a related discipline. - Experience with simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS and Keysight ADS. - Familiarity with lab equipment including VNA, TDR, and high-speed oscilloscopes. - Experience in high-speed digital system design, including PCB and package design. - Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, and antenna theory. - Hands-on proficiency with Python and MATLAB for automation and data analysis.
