About the role
This role involves preparing, optimizing, and deploying ML models onto automotive hardware using NXP Semiconductors S32N automotive MPUs which pack proprietary AI IP blocks.
What you'll do
- Get hands-on with S32N MPUs and AI toolchains.
- Prepare, optimize, and deploy ML models onto real automotive hardware.
- Prototype new AI use-cases (on-device assistants, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance) and create demos.
- Write clean, modern software using AI coding assistants, CI/CD, and automation.
- Work with global customers and engineering teams to shape AI silicon usage.
What you'll need
- A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, AI/ML, Software, or a related engineering field.
- Fluency with AI/ML concepts and tools: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow/ONNX.
- Comfort experimenting with LLMs and modern AI workflows.
- Solid software fundamentals and version control (git).
- Curiosity about how software meets hardware.
Nice to have
- Embedded systems experience.
- Edge AI deployment experience.
- Automotive/functional-safety awareness.
- Model quantisation and optimisation experience.
