About the role
This role involves ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance by uncovering root causes of errors, driving improvements, and implementing solutions in Functional Safety and Cyber Security Quality Management.
What you'll do
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and ISO21434 requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Verify work products and safety activities adhere to project requirements and functional safety processes.
- Plan and conduct Confirmation reviews, Functional Safety Audits (FSA), Functional Safety Assessments (FSA), and Internal process audits.
- Define and monitor KPIs such as audit findings closure rate, functional safety compliance rate, and process adherence metrics.
- Analyze audit results, lessons learned, and safety incidents to drive continuous improvement.
- Review and assess safety work products including TLSR, TSC, Safety Case, Safety Analysis (DC, FMEDA, SPFM, LFM, FIT rate), Safety Verification Plan, Safety Validation Reports, and Confirmation Measures documentation.
What you'll need
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and the functional safety lifecycle.
- Experience with HARA, FMEA/DFMEA, FTA, FMEDA, safety concepts, and safety requirements management.
- Experience reviewing and assessing safety work products such as Safety Plans, Safety Cases, Technical Safety Concepts, verification plans, validation reports and confirmation-measures documentation.
- Experience auditing cross-functional hardware, software, design, verification, and systems teams to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 across the product lifecycle.
