About the role
This role involves designing, building, and maintaining processor generator user interface systems and supporting infrastructure for the Tensilica Products Group. You will integrate Agentic AI methodologies into product tooling.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain components of an Eclipse-based IDE product for processor designers.
- Develop Web REST API servlets connecting to systems and databases.
- Build and maintain Web applications supporting customers and internal infrastructure.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements for design feasibility.
- Evolve SQL and other databases to support future functionality.
- Incorporate Agentic AI workflows into product features and design.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in computer science or a related field + 5 years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of related experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience building applications inside an IDE framework (Eclipse, VS Code or Thea).
- Experience building React web applications that interact with SQL databases based on REST services.
- Experience working developing SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing / building test systems for web and IDE based applications.
- Fluency working with and scripting tasks on Windows and Linux systems.
- Foundational understanding of computer architecture.
Nice to have
- Experience developing AI agents and Agentic AI workflows.
