About the role
This role involves partnering with business teams, FDE engineers, enterprise architects, and application owners to design, prototype, integrate, and operationalize AI-powered solutions. The engineer will be part of a small pod responsible for incubating new agentic use cases and moving successful solutions into production.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and deploy enterprise AI agents using Redpanda ADP and related agent frameworks.
- Develop agent workflows supporting ServiceNow, Workday, Supply Chain, HR, IT Operations, and future enterprise use cases.
- Build modern web applications, dashboards, and user experiences supporting agentic workflows.
- Develop backend services, APIs, middleware, and event-driven integrations.
- Design and implement integrations with Enterprise systems.
- Develop solutions on AWS-based environments including ADP BYOC deployments.
What you'll need
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, APIs, and enterprise security patterns.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI agents, MCP servers, LLM platforms, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, LangGraph, CrewAI, or Redpanda ADP.
- Experience with Kafka, Redpanda, event-driven architectures, streaming data, or orchestration platforms.
- Experience integrating with ServiceNow APIs, Workday APIs, SAP APIs, or Microsoft Graph.
- Experience creating production-grade AI applications, workflow automation, or agentic systems.
