About the role
This role involves performing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks on semiconductor tools to improve and sustain equipment availability and reliability.
What you'll do
- Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks
- Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications
- Modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance
What you'll need
- AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience
