About the role
Wireline Network Test is seeking an FPGA intern to support the development of wireline Ethernet test products. The position involves working with FPGA logic operating at 600+ MHz and line speeds exceeding 1600Gbps.
What you'll do
- Work with a mentor to design, develop, and implement new features and platforms. - Create and develop new products and features. - Contribute to continuous process and code base improvements.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a B.Sc or M.Sc in EE or CE program. - Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog. - Basic C programming knowledge. - Ability to read and interpret complex information.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Ethernet technologies from 1G to 1600G+. - Experience with SerDes up to 212Gbps, memory technologies such as DDR4, RLDRAM3, and interconnect protocols such as PCIe and Interlaken. - Understanding of data networks, networking protocols, switch/router operation, and protocol stack implementations. - Understanding of interpreted languages such as Tcl or Python.
