About the role
This role supports new products by running an initial test build and documenting the build process.
What you'll do
- Support new products into the facility by running an initial test build.
- Document the build process, including key steps, settings, and outcomes.
- Perform product assembly during the test build and early production support phase.
- Develop scripts needed to enable, automate, or validate the build and test process.
- Write clear work instructions for assembly, scripting usage, and test procedures.
- Test hardware to verify functionality and confirm the product is ready for introduction into the facility.
What you'll need
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience building computers and strong general hardware (HW) knowledge.
- +1 year of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation.
- Exposure to process improvement methodologies and initiatives.
