About the role
The First Article Associate 1 (New Product Introduction Technician) supports new and existing clients with new product needs in Phoenix. Working under engineering direction, this role creates and develops first articles for firmware programming and ensures internal operations meet customer specifications.
What you'll do
- Support key accounts by requesting, tracking, and ensuring internal processes meet customer specific requirements (CSR). - Create and develop first articles for firmware programming under the direction of an engineer. - Build products and generate documentation aligned with technical specifications by analyzing technical data to establish setup criteria. - Create detailed work instructions for the production floor based on the first article build process, including step-by-step photos. - Provide direct support to the production floor during pilot runs and handle order entry and tracking for key accounts. - Adhere to quality compliance requirements set by engineering leadership.
What you'll need
- 2-year degree with 2–4 years of experience, or high school diploma with equivalent related experience. - Specialized skills or multi-skilled experience acquired through job-related training and on-the-job execution. - Experience operating under moderate supervision to resolve technical issues from partial or conflicting data.
