About the role
As a Firmware Engineer, you will work with customers and internal engineering teams on server platform BIOS solutions for AMD systems.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, debug, verify, and validate firmware, software, and hardware on AMD platforms. - Provide consultation and training to customers regarding AMD features and programming requirements. - Deliver BIOS and software support on customer server and embedded platforms. - Support internal and external platform bring-up. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and implement new features.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. - Strong knowledge of server architecture, x86 processors, and system components. - Expertise in the C programming language and hardware debugging. - Experience with BIOS and firmware development, validation, and debugging.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of UEFI. - Knowledge of RAS on AMD systems.
