About the role
This internship focuses on the design of BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components for wireless RF Applications.
What you'll do
- Design BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components used in wireless RF Applications.
- Contribute to Laminate integration of filter components into RFFE Modules.
- Run circuit and electromagnetic (EM) Simulations using commercial and internally developed tools.
- Understand and meet Product Specification requirements for RF Performance, costs, and schedule.
- Work with the Characterization Team to evaluate and diagnose RF Components.
- Contribute to the Continuous Improvement of Design flow, Methods, Processes.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing an MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF & Microwaves.
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience.
- Exposure to one circuit simulator like ADS or AWR.
- Exposure to one FEM simulator like HFSS or CST.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling.
Nice to have
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
